Current public app, version 3.0

Version 3.0 uses Firebase for app analytics and diagnostics and RevenueCat for subscription management. These services may process app or installation identifiers, device and app context, interactions, diagnostics, and purchase or entitlement information. Apple processes payments. The 3.1 controls below do not apply retroactively to version 3.0. See Firebase privacy information, RevenueCat privacy policy, and Apple privacy policy.

3.1 TestFlight build

Searching a public identifier sends it and ordinary connection information to the public websites checked. Scan history and encrypted cases remain in local app storage until deleted; optional search credentials use the device-only Keychain. Apple StoreKit transactions on the device determine Pro access. Apple may separately send signed purchase notifications to Maigret for statistics, without unlocking the app through the server.

“Share usage diagnostics” starts off. If you enable it, the first-party service receives fixed event categories, count ranges, app version and build, time rounded to the minute, rotating random measurement and session identifiers, and any resolved Apple Ads attribution. It excludes search inputs, profile URLs, reports, notes, cookies, credentials and receipts. Turning it off stops new sending and attempts to delete the local queue; received events expire after 45 days and are removed at the next scheduled cleanup. The 3.1 build does not enable Firebase analytics or crash collection.

This static preview does not load advertising pixels, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Cloudflare serves the pages and processes ordinary connection information needed to deliver and protect them. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy ↗.

We will update this page when 3.1 becomes public. The beta details above do not mean 3.1 features or privacy controls are available in the current public App.
